Not sure what files have been deleted. Actually Desktop Icon Toy shouldn't delete any system files.

The ease of use is fair. But it can get you into trouble. I had to repair windows because I let the program delete some important files.

Thanks, Activicons is a good program. But didn't see the feature to hide icon labels.

What do you mean for the problem with icon layouts? Are you using the latest version?

Any suggestions feel free to contact us.

I actually purchased a copy of your program before I downloaded the latest version of a freeware program called Activicons. I'm rather sorry I did that because Activicons fits my needs much better. All I really want is a program to make desktop icon labels invisible substituting a windows style tooltip for the icon when the mouse cursor covers the icon. Activicons does that admirably and also keeps the desktop icon layout when saved plus has some other attributes which are not at present important to me.

Your program substitues an invasive style "tooltip" for the icon and also caused some awkward problems with icon layouts between bootup/shutdown/restart activities. Sorry I don't have more positive comments for you but wish you well for the future of your program.

Thank you for interesting the program.
1) Do you mean change the icon position use the build-in layout? When first time to run the program, it will automatically save the current layout. Maybe better to display some info.

2) This should be shown only first time, right? Else user will annoy.

3) Do you mean double click the tray icon? Currently it has a single click action. If add a double click. Need to do some trick to determine whether is single click or double click. This will delay the single click action. You can do a test for Windows Volume icon. Single click the Volume icon, it shows slowly.

1)Since some of the features of the program may cause an unholy mess on the desktop, how about displaying a little warning about this effect and asking the user to save the current layout before proceeding?

2)How about adding a helpful tooltip to the system tray something like
"Please right-click to display options" ?

3)Why did you choose to make the program ignore the common double-click?

A very good product that is cost effective but I am currently not using the product since I had a computer crash and I reloaded all of my OEM software so that I no longer need to use Desktop Icon Toy.

But I may use it in the future, should the need arise where I need a desktop icon enhancement tool.
